Explosive trap completes the quest for you so on turn 7 or turn 6 (if you coin tavish) you get 0 power if they hit face. If your hero is 0 power before tavish, IT WILL NOT DISCOUNT YOUR NEW HERO POWER. If you play tavish make sure you're 1/2 of your quest progression to make ur hero 0 power. It will net you more draws giving you a higher burst potential a few turns later when you`'re going to flood the board. You can select the dormant summon 2 copies secret and the explosive trap. Treasure guard on turn 5 and beastalker tavish on turn 6 is very good (but make sure you clear the board on turn 4). SO wound prey giving 1 face damage and a 1/1 is great for 5 mana piercing shot. I didn't know this before playing quest hunter and actually realising it but you can piercing shot ur own minions for the extra damage to your opponent. Other possible combinations can be wound the prey into piercing shot. Even in combination with wound prey and barbed nets it can be pretty disgusting and gives you an extra draw which has won me many games. But thalnos is great at making the dragonbane do 3 damage honorable kill or get that extra damage with aimed shot to kill the Naga 5-4. I like Thalnos but sometimes I feel pain when I play drek`'thar and Thalnos gets pulled.
Every single hunter I went up against who had the naga spell damage lost because they had a dead card in the hand while I was progressing the quest as fast as possible. I could write another guide if I managed to go high legend but it is a grind and this deck is kinda boring (ngl).ĭeck: I know some people who run the spell damage naga and I do not recommend because in current meta right now you either want to progress quest as fast as possible or get tavish and flood the board with minions. I climbed to legend flawlessy with a 71% winrate, and I even included two other matches in legend and it still feels the same.
